Has everyone calmed down a little yet? XD
I want to strike up a discussion regarding this chapter.
Who do you think still has their souls (disregarding the obvious five, Ling, and Mei)? There weren't any panels showing a "dead" Scar + Bradley nor Riza + Chimera, and since they were enveloped by that black bubble, I think they might've made the cut?
And then... do you think this is all going according to Hoho's plans? I mean, it seems to me like Pinako and Grumman knew this was going to happen (either that, or I guess they knew the consequences of the five people failing to stop Father)... The transmutation circle Marcoh used to destroy Envy's PS was the one that Sloth carved, is it not? Of course, we can't really see what's on his other hand, or whether there's anything on that other hand at all. Because of that, I'm thinking that the Rentanjutsu reverse circle does more than simply negating the country-wide circle. Since seeing that panel, I've always assumed that the Rentanjutsu reverse circle was used to put souls back into a body. Maybe that's what they're going for? Who knows. It'd take one hell of an effort to sort that all out though, and I guess the energy needed from that would come straight from Father... I'm curious about it all, but I'm too lazy to research the Rentanjutsu circle >_>;
The rebuttal for everything I said above: Hoho's reaction makes it seem like they were all too late to stop Father. And that kind of a plan seems to risky, period. I understand that all five people would have to be present (because well, they obviously don't want others involved, as it would throw their counter plans completely off) and that in itself poses a huge risk to Amestris, but one can also argue that if all five of them were safely in Xing or something, Father could easily make five other people open the gates. It probably isn't as detrimental to Father than it would be for Pride, so it's very possible. Picking five random skilled alchemists off the streets would also practically ensure their success, since these people didn't know what was coming.
And welcome joe! :D Where did you come from? Your English is better than most of my cousins' who live in Asia, lol.
Anddddd I'm not supposed to be here because I have a pretty brutal midterm tomorrow, so... *run away* _________________ "If we didn't stick together, you and I, we'd be very lost indeed." |
