@juno: Well, I guessed it would be easy for US Americans. I was mainly wondering about visitors from different countries.

@Seita: Ah, okay. For a second I thought you were somehow involved in the scanlation process of that team. XD

And here a new omake about an old chapter:
(Somehow the new episodes don't give me any ideas at all... :/ )

Fullmetal Alchemist Omake 213: New watch
(chapter 73 spoiler!)

Some watches have so many functions that it takes you a half year to find those you actually need. -.-°
This omake has a reference in it which should be obvious to anyone who played several Konami games on PS, PS2 and/or PS3 (for example Silent Hill 3, 5 or 0; but also a lot of non-SH games).
I gotta admit that I kinda stole a (pretty old) joke from a German comedian for one of the panels, but I'll just hope that joke is not known in other countries. XD

LOL I can connect with this omake so nicely! Sigh, I hate it when watches have too many functions. It's why I normally stick with analogues... except those are getting pretty complicated too. My aunt got me this fancy watch last year, and it took me two hours to figure out how to set the date and weekday. >_>; Then I found out the morning/night indication was broken, but whatever. The watch display is made of a seashell :D

PS Don't worry, I hardly watch comedy of a language I'm not familiar with, so I don't know about the German comedian whom you piggybacked off of :D

No idea what you mean by the Konami games though... unless you mean how the watch can teach you how to swim, in which case, I think that's a commonly recurring feature in many many games, where random little gadgets teach you all there is about life, LOL.

Actually Greed was referring to the Konami code which is a sequence of button presses common to Konami games that generally give you a handful of awesome things.

Though I was initially confused by the end there until I saw you were talking about Playstation games, it's usually shown as "up up down down left right left right B A start" because of the code's start on the NES, doubly confused since I never hear it called the "cross" button.

But! That was excellent! I actually took part in an lol.

I misinterpreted the omake as well, but I still thought it was hilarious. So even when your audience is taking the joke a different way, you're still funny XDDD View it as an accomplishment!

Yes, I am refering to the legendary "Konami Code". Though I own a SNES (not an NES), I never had a Konami game using this code on that platform. Probably because I'm not into beat 'em ups, and I guess that's were it started. Smile

So I got to know the code on ps2, and have since seen it in several Konami games on ps, ps2 and ps3.
Well, that's why it never was "B A" for me to start with. Concerning the Cross or "X" button: I don't know what the official "name" is, as all guides and official documents always depict the button instead of giving it a name. I just prefer "cross", and it fits better to "circle" that way. :3

@Yumi: Well, this omake has a total of 5 jokes/gags/references in it, so even after missing or missunderstanding one or two of them, there's still enough left. Wink

First of all:
Don't read this post any further if you aven't read chapter 105 yet!!!

Finally another chapter that gave me a few omake ideas! Unfortunately, I'm lacking the time to realize the complex ones, so for now I can just post the most simple one:

(And once again: be aware of chapter 105 spoilers!!!)

Probably not that funny, but a reference to some classic omakes. And I just couldn't withstand the desire to "destroy" such a great scene. Twisted Evil

@juno: Mustard has become a kind of symbol for randomness in my omakes. And you really forgot? I thought such a stupid random thing could never be forgotten. XD

Instead of him saying anything cool (like in the original scene), I wanted a totally random and meaningless speech. So "mustard" was the most suited choice. Laughing

Please excuse the crappy coloring, especially on page 2. I'm neither very talented in coloring on-screen nor do I have the time to do that better than that... Sad

Well, hope you like it nevertheless. The reference is obvious, and most of the dialogue is taken from there.
The idea came to me while looking at the upper panel of the second page above. If you know the series you might know why.
If you wonder "Why didn't he give Earth to Izumi?" or "Why not Heart for Mei?":
Most elements were not chosen based on how they fit to FMA characters, but based on the similarities between FMA characters and planeteers. In the original series, the asian girl had water, the other girl had wind, the young boy had heart. Roy is an exception, there was no way to give him any element but fire! Wink

Well, and Ed got the "leftover" element. (But transforming the ground for attacks is one of his favorites, anyway. Mr. Green

Oh great. Judging by the omments, it looks like I just created a sequel for an omake that nobody likes. =.=

Well, even if you don't like or understand that one, maybe you'll like the following one. It's not actually a sequel, but rather an alternative end. Maybe you know it from games: The first time you play a game you often get the "normal ending", but when you fulfill certain conditions , you might get a "true ending" on your second playthrough. Well, consider this as such an alternative end! XD

Oh man, I forgot to comment on the last one >_< I did read it and laugh, though. Even though I'm not sure I know the series itself, there are so many 'super power' shows that follow this routine that it's self-explanatory.

I loooove the Garfiel addition, though! XDDD Father would surrender to him...
