You probably have to know The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi to fully enjoy this. And no, I'll not hotlink this. If you spent the last years on planet Earth, there's no way you never heard about that series.
If you like the last panel, you can find a bigger-sized version of it without speech bubble and the omake around it here. At the moment, it's my desktop background (with black colored bars above and below). It leaves a lot of space for files and shortcuts without concealing the vital part of the pic.

Actually, I expected especially the second one to have quite a few fans. Seems I misjudged that.
(It's a shame, the last panel was quite a lot of work.)
Makes my next omake a bit pointless, but I'll still post it as I already made it. And as it wraps up the FMAB omakes quite well in my opinion, while linking them to the manga omakes. Most likely, this will be my last Brotherhood Omake. Not the last fma stuff I'll be posting here, though.

Oh, be aware of serious FMA spoilers in the following omake!!!

Well, maybe most of the visitors just don't know what to say about the posts. That will change now! :3
Quite a long time ago, at a time somewhere in between the Gaia-Chibi-thread and the begin of Brotherhood, I made a similar attempt to recreate FMA characters by a Simpsons character creator tool. Back then the tool had not that many parts to choose from, so it was kinda hard and many characters were totally impossible. I heard that later on the tool got more parts, but when I checked a while ago the tool was dead and it seems it stays that way. Well, but I still have the creations from back then, I just never got the time to post them so far. And no I have the time. So before starting the Juushin Enbu Omakes, let's make a guessing game. I post a Simpsons version of an FMA character, and you guess which chacter it is. Like I mentioned, due to the very limited part choice it isn't always obvious. Look at this, for example:




There is a similarity, but the clothes aren't an exact match, for example. Oh, and you noticed the references on the shirts? There will be more like those, so don't miss them.

But let's finally start the guessing game (the previous one was just an example)! Which character could that be:




That's a very easy one for the start, so don't let me down. I'll not post further stuff before you guess that.

Yo, dude, I have now enjoyed all of the ones I missed and you deserve compliments on all of those Father related comics. Good job!

Also gonna guess that it's goatee Havoc who is obviously missing his cigarette. He still has a goatee during rehabilitation so I don't know what you're talking about with him missing his wheelchair.

Even during rehabilitation, he surely still spents most of the time (between the exercises) in the wheelchair. Look at him struggeling at his last panel. He is obviously NOT able to stand on his own yet. So making him stand on his own in the pic above felt kinda wrong. That's why I wanted the wheelchair.
(Not to mention that all but the one pic of the goatee version show him sitting in the wheelchair, which makes it very typical in my opinion.)

But you mentioned both the cigarette and the wheelchair, that's all I wanted. ^^

So there are wo characters this time. Both are... well... not that similar to the originals. As most significant details of them were not available like that. But I think it should still be possible to guess them right. Have a try:





(btw: What really sucks is that shirts and throusers were the only available clothes to select - both for men and women. The shirts are not really appropriate here... -.-°)

I think that's a problem the forum in general (and not jut this thread) has right now. It seems that many members are still visiting zomgfta. But they just give zomgfta a short visit, and as there are just few new posts they are too lazy too log in and post a reply. Resulting in even less new posts, resulting in even less log ons, and so on. A vicious circle.
So thanks a lot for loggin in and replying - and thanks for the praise. *bows*

And yes, they are Roy and Hughes. Like mentioned before it was quite hard to make them look similar to the manga versions (for example due to the lack of really similar hair - and the hair belongs to the most recognizable parts of these characters...).

btw: Has Hughes shirt pic helped a little bit? It's pretty hard for me to estimate if it's hard or easy to get the shirt references/symbolism. In this case, Roy's shirt stands for his strenght and his visions to lead Amestris, while the girly pic on Hughes' shirt stands for his bond with his daughter. Do you mind telling me what you think the other shirt themes so far could stand for? If you (not necessarily just one of you, but together) guess all of them right I'll post something new (additionally to the next Simpsons pic) next time.

(Actually, the hair style and the ears are the only parts that are the same in both versions. XD)
